Governor’s Civics Awards for Schools

In August 2019, members of the LETASA Executive Committee were invited to a reception at Government House to launch the Governor’s Civics Awards for schools. It was an incredible opportunity to not only meet the Governor, but to hear about his passion for this subject.

In 2019, the awards were open to Year 5s.

From 2020, the awards will be open to all South Australian students in Years 5-12.

LETASA Executive Service Recognition

The Council of Education Associations of South Australia (CEASA) is aware that so many Educators give their time to volunteer on Association Management Committees and Boards. These fantastic contributions deserve recognition and so CEASA organised the CEASA Volunteers Celebration on 24th May, 2018, to acknowledge contributions to the running and management of associations.

Congratulations and thanks go to (President: 2017-2019) Brett Schenk, (Secretary) Paula Hensing, and Donna Foster who were recognised for their 10+ years of service to LETASA.

Congratulations and thanks go to (Vice-President: 2017-2019) Rick Sommariva, (Treasurer) Kathleen Meyers, and Irene Frangos who were recognised for their 20+ years of service to LETASA.
